DescriptionUse three lengths of kitchen paper, wet it and fold into three lengthwise , now place this on a length of foil and fold this over a few times to seal the paper, wrap this around the outside of your baking tin. What happens is, the wrap insulates the cake, allowing it to cook more evenly so it rises uniformly. This saves having to cut off the domed bit of cake and makes it much easier to ice and decorate. You can reuse the foil a few time until it dries out. Just cut it to size.
